I am so excited to announce the upcoming release of Pigs in the Wild: A Comical Nature Coloring Book.
For this new project, I wanted to play with a really fun visual contrast. The stars of the book are a chubby, deeply comical family of cartoon pigs—complete with dad in his rolled-up t-shirt and bib overalls, mom in her favorite floral dresses, and the kids getting into all sorts of mischief. But rather than putting them in a cartoon world, I’ve dropped them right into breathtaking, highly detailed, realistic natural environments.
As you flip through the pages, you’ll get to color the family hiking through sweeping mountain pine forests, paddling canoes down lily-choked streams, exploring glowing caverns, and even having a fancy tea party in a botanical garden. The backgrounds feature crisp, clean line art with minimal shading, leaving plenty of room for you to experiment with vibrant, bold colors.
